Our story

Why Kleovita exists

Every meaningful product begins somewhere. Kleovita did not begin with a pitch deck or a line of code. It began with a question many people quietly carry, often long before they say it aloud.

What will remain of us for the people we love?

November 2018

The day perspective changed

In November 2018, I was told I had cancer.

Anyone who has faced that kind of sentence knows how quickly life becomes sharper. Ordinary days feel different. Words left unsaid become louder. Memories suddenly seem fragile, not because they are small, but because they live in people, habits, phones, drawers and places that time can scatter.

February 2019

A thought became a shape

By February 2019, the thought had become an idea.

What if there could be a calm, private place where someone could keep more than files?

A place for letters, photographs, videos, voice notes, documents, wishes and small pieces of a life, organised so they could reach the right people at the right time.

At that moment, there was no platform, no interface, no technical architecture. Only the feeling that this should exist.

No code yet. No screens yet. Only a clear need.

For several years

An idea kept quietly

For years, the idea lived mostly in my mind.

I could see how it should work: how personal content should be protected, how access should be chosen, how a beneficiary should receive something clear rather than a confusing archive.

But when I spoke about it, the reaction was often cautious, sometimes blunt.

The idea is too difficult.

People will not use a service like that.

It will never really happen.

So I spoke about it less.

Not because the idea had disappeared, but because I had begun to wonder whether I was the only person who could see what it might become.

The years that followed

What could have ended it

The following years brought their own tests.

  • Surgery.
  • A recurrence.
  • The Covid pandemic.
  • The loss of much of my professional activity.

Any one of those moments could have been enough to let the project fade away.

And yet...

The idea never left.

It kept changing quietly. Each time I returned to it, the purpose became more precise.

Kleovita had to be more than storage. It had to feel safe, understandable and deeply human.

01Stronger privacy and security.
02A simpler way to choose what is shared.
03A more human experience for the people who receive it.

The decision to build

Waiting was no longer enough

Eventually, there was a moment when waiting stopped making sense.

There is always a reason to postpone something personal and difficult.

Not enough time. Not enough resources. Too much doubt. Too much fear of failing.

But if we wait for the perfect moment, some of the most meaningful work never begins.

So I made a decision. To build the place I had been imagining for years.

For months, Kleovita became part of every day.

Every feature had to answer one simple purpose:

to help someone preserve what matters, and share it in a way that still feels like them.

Today

A private space, made for real lives

Today, Kleovita is no longer only an idea.

It is a private space for memories, messages and essential documents.

A place to prepare something for the people who matter.

A place to write words that may be needed later.

And sometimes, a place to say something now, before time decides for us.

Some words are meant to be discovered one day.

Others simply deserve not to wait.

Kleovita was built from that conviction.

Memories have value.

Words can change what someone carries.

Some forms of love should not depend on chance, passwords or forgotten devices.

Kleovita was not created to store files. It was created to protect what someone may one day be grateful to find.
